Professor Naomi Dale

Naomi is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and a Professor in Paediatric Neurodisability at UCL Institute of Child Health. She has been associated with the Mary Kitzinger Trust since 1995 and is now Chair of the Trustees. She is very honoured to be representing the Trust, having known Mary in her youth and remembering her as an exceptional young clinical psychologist.

Naomi graduated with degrees in psychology and clinical child and developmental psychology from University of Manchester (BA Hons), University of Nottingham (MA) and University of Cambridge (PhD). Since then Naomi has worked with children with vision impairment (and other neurodevelopmental disabilities) and their families for many years.

She is a leading clinician and researcher in the field, leading a grant-funded research programme at GOSH/ UCL which has worldwide recognition. She now provides national and international consultancy to help translate research into best practice.

She enjoys relaxing with family and friends, countryside and urban walking, cooking, theatre, arts and always a good cup of coffee and a chat.
